Our 2025 Projects

Equine Therapy

The Therapeutic Equine Program in Hull is designed to provide targeted therapeutic interventions using horses to support individuals with mental health challenges, physical disabilities, and social isolation. This programme aims to enhance participants' well-being through structured equine-assisted therapy (EAT) and other equine activities, fostering both physical and emotional healing.

Canine Intervention

The Canine Intervention Program in Hull is designed to serve individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, including young people, people with mental health conditions, the elderly, and others who could benefit from the therapeutic power of canine companionship. The project will also involve local volunteers who will gain training and experience in animal care, therapeutic practices, and community service.

Furniture Upcycling

The Furniture Upcycling Project in Hull seeks to reduce waste, promote sustainability, and provide valuable skills training to local residents through the creative repurposing of old or discarded furniture. The project will engage individuals in the hands-on process of upcycling, offering them practical skills in carpentry, design, and business. At the same time, the project will promote environmental sustainability by diverting furniture from landfills, giving it a new lease on life.

Over-75s Tea Parties

The Tea Party Project for Over-75s in Hull aims to combat loneliness and social isolation. Each event will feature a social gathering with tea, refreshments, and activities to encourage interaction, including music, games, and conversation. In addition to providing a friendly space for socialising, the project will offer opportunities for participants to connect with local services and support networks. The Tea Party Project will help to reduce loneliness, improve mental and emotional health, and foster a sense of belonging in the community.

Residential Rehabilitation Program

The Residential Rehabilitation Program in Hull aims to provide a comprehensive, structured, and supportive environment for individuals struggling with substance abuse, mental health challenges, or recovery from trauma. The program will offer 24/7 care, professional therapy, life skills training, and peer support to help individuals overcome their challenges, reintegrate into society, and improve their long-term well-being. This program will serve individuals aged 18 and over in Hull, with a particular focus on those who have experienced chronic substance misuse, homelessness, or who face barriers to accessing other forms of rehabilitation.
