As Christians, we are called to stand firm against hidden LGBTQ+ agendas being normalised in everyday life. Even activities that appear harmless can be used to promote ideas that oppose God’s Word. My recent experience booking a holiday revealed this reality in a very personal way, highlighting the urgent need for believers to discern, speak truth, and protect their families.

The enemy is working boldly in our world, and too many Christians are asleep. Every day, agendas that oppose God’s Word are being normalised — in schools, media, holidays, and even seemingly harmless activities. It is no longer enough to quietly nod along, to stay polite, or to “mind our own business.” God is calling His people to rise up, speak truth, and take action.

My Experience: How Hidden Agendas Were Promoted

The enemy is prowling, and too many Christians are asleep. Every day, agendas that oppose God’s Word are being normalised — in schools, holidays, media, and even family-friendly activities. If you remain passive, you are giving ground to the devil.

I recently booked a holiday through bookhorseridingholidays / Tripaneer, expecting a safe, family-friendly horse-riding experience. Instead, I was confronted with multiple issues: unsafe horses that were not suitable for riders, misleading advertising, and — most troubling — the active promotion of LGBTQ+ ideology. The organisers actively promoted a transgender agenda. Both of their children now identify as male, and their mother, a medical professional, publicly advocates for the trans movement and is involved in supporting individuals through medical and hormonal transitions. She serves on the executive board of the Professional Association for Transgender Health South Africa.

Discussions and advocacy that directly contradict God’s Word were presented as normal and acceptable, without any warning or consent.

As a Christian, I was shocked. My daughter, who was experiencing her first-ever horsey holiday, deserved a safe and wholesome environment. Instead, we were confronted with an agenda that seeks to reshape hearts and minds away from God’s truth.

Christians must discern and resist LGBTQ+ advocacy in everyday life.

Hear me, Church: God calls us to stand firm, not bow to deception. Silence is complicity. Passivity is surrender. Every compromise chips away at the kingdom of God.

The Broader Spiritual Battle Christians Must Recognise

This is not just a holiday issue — it is part of a larger war against God’s Word. The enemy is infiltrating everyday life, using deception and normalisation to pull people away from Biblical truth. Too many Christians are passive, thinking that “love and tolerance” mean staying silent. Let me be clear: silence is complicity. Passivity is surrender.

The Scripture warns:

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

Do you think harmless silence protects you? No. Every compromise, every unchecked influence, every place where we fail to speak truth gives ground to the enemy.

I am calling all believers to wake up and stand firm:

1. Discernment: Check every platform, every program, every social experience. Do not assume it aligns with God’s Word.
2. Bold Witness: Speak the truth fearlessly, in your family, your church, and your networks. Warning others is a Biblical responsibility.
3. Reject Compromise: Do not participate in, support, or normalise agendas that oppose Scripture.
4. Pray and Mobilise: Lift up your voice in prayer, stand in spiritual warfare, and lead others by example.

We are at a moment in history where inaction is deadly. God’s people must rise. We must refuse to accept lies as truth. We must fight for what is right – stand firm in God’s truth against hidden agendas.
